CTET 2021 Exam Notification

CBSE has released a notification regarding the CTET 2021 at its official site. It was published on 23 January 2020. Registration for the CTET Exam commenced on 24 January 2020. Twice a year, around the months of January and August, the CTET Notification has been released.

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the CBSE has delayed CTET Exam 2020-2021, but will now organize it on January 31, 2021. The CBSE Board has confirmed the new timetable for the CTET. CTET Exam Eligibility Standards

You should know the CTET Eligibility 2021 for the Exam before applying for the exam. The reserved categories will get a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks in the academic eligibility of CTET.

  • Primary Classes (Class 1 to 5)

For primary levels, you must fulfill the criteria as given below:

  • You must pass senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • You should pass or appear in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

  • You have to pass senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 45% marks.
  • You need to complete or appear in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education, in accordance with NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.

OR

  • You should complete senior secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • You have to pass or appear in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

  • You have to pass senior secondary (or it’s equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
  • Along with it, you should have a pass certificate of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education) *.

OR

  • You should have a graduation degree in the relevant discipline.
  • You must have a certificate of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Elementary Classes (Class 6 to 8)

You must fulfill the criteria as given below:

  • You should have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline that must be obtained.
  • Also, you must accomplish or appear in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

OR

  • You should possess a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks that must be acquired.
  • You have to complete a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

OR

  • You have to complete Graduation with at least 45% marks that must be done in relevant discipline.
  • You must accomplish a year in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

  • You should pass Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks
  • Also, You have to pass or appear in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

CTET Application Form| How to Fill?

Eligible applicants can apply an online CTET Application Form to the official CBSE website. The CBSE will post a notification detailing the entire examination schedule and procedure to fill. You should keep in mind that the CTET Application Form 2020-2021 was available from January 24 to March 9, 2020.

    • Here, you have to fill in academic, communication, and other required details and enter security text.

  • Step 3: Pay CTET Exam Application Fee

    • For online payment, you have to choose a payment gateway (debit card/credit card/net banking)
    • For offline payment, you have to download the e-challan and deposit the fee in Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank.

    • Now you should print it for record and future processes.
    • You need not send the Hard copy to the CTET office.

  • CTET Notification: The latest CTET notification 2020 was released on January 23, 2020.

CTET 2020-2021 Exam Pattern

CTET Exam Pattern has two papers – Paper 1 (Primary Stage) and Paper 2 (Elementary Stage)

  • Paper 1 is for aspirants who want to become a teacher for classes 1 to 5.
  • Paper 2 is for aspirants who want to become a teacher for classes 6 to 8.

You will be awarded a +1 mark for every correct answer. The negative marking scheme will not be applicable to the exam.

CTET 2020-2021 Exam Syllabus

You should have the latest syllabus to prepare for any exams. Here we have provided the latest CTET Exam Syllabus.

CTET Exam Paper 1 is for Primary Stage Teachers Candidates, and Paper 2 is for Candidates of Elementary Stage Teachers. Candidates can also appear for both papers.

  • Paper 1 Syllabus has Child Development and Pedagogy. It focuses on educational psychology and teaching of children aged 6-11.
  • Paper 2 Syllabus comprises five sections viz., Child Development and Pedagogy for children aged 11-14 years.
  • Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Science are the other four sections.
  • Language 1 and Language 2 will contain questions from comprehension and language development.

Note that both Paper 1 and Paper 2 has two Language sections – Language I and Language II.

CTET Exam Admit Card 2020-2021

CTET 2020-21 Admit Cards has been tentatively published on January 13, 2021, on the official website.

You should check the particulars on the admit card. It must match the details given on the confirmation page. You should check all the details on the Admit Card properly and if you found any discrepancies and report to the authority regarding any corrections.

CTET Exam 2020-2021 Result

CTET Result will tentatively be published on the official website a few weeks after the conduct of the exam. You will find the Result for both papers. In Digi-locker, you can download the CTET 2020-2021 Eligibility Certificate.

The unofficial CTET Exam Answer Key will be published as soon as the paper gets over on 31 January 2021. However, the official CTET Exam 2020 answer key, along with the scanned images of the OMR sheet, will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) tentatively after the conduct of the exam.

The answer key will be released set-wise for paper-I and -II separately on the official website of the exam.
