CTET Result 2020: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the CTET 2020 tentatively in August. The test will be held in two shifts in 112 cities at 2935 CTET exam centers across the country.

To qualify CTET 2020, you have to secure marks equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks. As per the CTET 2020 cut off, your marks should be equal to or more than 60% (general) and 55% (reserved category) will be considered qualified. 

You should know that only CTET qualified candidate will be abled to get the eligibility certificate. The certificate will be valid for 7 years.

CTET Result 2020

Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi handles CTET Exam as per the guidelines by The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India twice in a year. However, according to media reports, the teacher eligibility test will now be held only once a year.

Fact About Previous Year CTET Exam,

  • In December 2019, total 5.42 lakh candidates had qualified the CTET exam. Out of this, 3,12,558 were females and 2,29,718 were males. Close to 24 lakh candidates had appeared for the CTET December 2019 exam while 28 lakh had registered.

CTET Qualifying Marks 2020

You have to obtain a minimum passing marks to qualify and clear CTET. Details of qualifying marks are as follows.

  • Minimum marks to be eligible in the result of CTET 2020 is 60% (that is 90 out of 150).
  • Cut off marks are same for paper 1 as well as paper 2.
  • If a candidate has appeared in both and scored 60% in any one paper, then he/she will be declared as passed in that paper only.
  • All candidates who appear in the exam are issued marks statement.
  • However, eligibility certificate is only granted to candidates who get 60% marks or above.
  • It is upto the school to provide relaxation, if any, to candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, differently-abled.
  • Some schools (govt, local, aided, unaided) provide 5% relaxation to SC, ST, OBC, differently-abled candidates.

CTET Marksheet 2020

After the declaration of the result of CTET , CBSE will provide CTET mark sheets to all candidates and eligibility certificates to successful candidates in Digital Format in their DigiLocker account. The mark sheets and eligibility certificates The candidates will be able to download their marksheet and eligibility certificates using the login credentials.

CTET Eligibility Certificate 2020

If you secure 60 per cent or more in CTET exam then you will be eligibile to get the CTET eligibility certificate. The CTET 2020 eligibility certificate will be valid for a duration of seven years starting from the date of announcement of the CTET result.

You have to download the eligibility certificate by visiting the official website of CTET and click on the ‘download eligibility certificate’ option. To download the CTET 2020 eligibility certificate, candidates have to enter the roll number in the login window. Candidates must download their respective eligibility certificate and get it printed for future references.

  • CTET 2020 Certificate validity: The validity period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. 

Duplicate CTET Marksheet & Eligibility Certificate

If you misplace your CTET 2020 marksheet or eligibility certificate then you can request for a duplicate marksheet/certificate. For that, you have to send an application form for the same along with a Demand Draft (DD) that is drawn in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education and is payable at Delhi. The DD needs to be drawn from any nationalised bank. 

Earlier, candidates had to pay Rs 235 as charges for issue of duplicate CTET marksheet/eligibility certificate. However, CBSE has now revised the application fee as under:
