SSC MTS Recruitment | Eligibility Criteria 2021
Applicants must ensure that they must meet the SSC MTS Eligibility Criteria 2021 formulated by the commission before continuing with the SSC MTS Application Form. If you are not fulfilling the mentioned criteria, then you are not allowed to fill out the Application Form for SSC MTS 2021. The eligibility requirements are depended on the age limit, nationality, and educational qualification of the applicants.
As per Nationality, SSC MTS Recruitment specifies that an applicant to be a citizen of the listed states only. A candidate must comply with all of the mentioned criteria:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
The age limits for the positions as per the SSC MTS Recruitment rules of different departments are:
- 18-25 years as on cut-off date (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2003).
- 18-27 years as on cut-off date (i.e., candidates born not before 02-01-1994 and not later than 01-01-2003).

Provide information on whether you belong to Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). This is applicable for only un-reserved candidates.
6th Step: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature as per the process to be shared in SSC MTS Recruitment Notification.
- Photograph: Scanned color passport size photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB). The image dimension of the photograph should be about 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height)
- Signature: Scanned signature in JPEG format (10 to 20 KB) Image dimension of the signature should be about 4.0 cm (width) x 3.0 cm (height).
7th Step: Candidates are now having to pay the Application Fee as per the category.
