The SSC MTS is a national level exam that conducts exams to recruit eligible candidates in General Group-C Central Service of the government of India. The SSC MTS cutoff 2020 will be published by the board along with the result on the official website. The result will be published within a month or two as the result dates are postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus COVID-19. The board will consider various factors like difficulty level of exam number of vacancies to calculate the SSC MTS 2020 cutoff.

SSC MTS (Multi Tasking Staff) is a position for which there is a large number of applicants every year. It is one of the most participated examinations for 10th cleared students due to attracting SSC MTS Salary and Job Profile. As the Exam notification is yet to be released, it is important for candidates to know the SSC MTS Cut off. The Minimum Score Required to Clear and move to the Next Stage of Exam is SSC MTS Cut Off Tier 1. The SSC MTS Cut-Off will be Released twice in a year for Tier 1 and Tier 2. Cut Off will be Released along with SSC MTS Result at official the website ssc.nic.in

SSC MTS Cut Off 2020

The SSC MTS Paper-II 2019 was conducted on 24th November 2019 but the results for the same are yet to be declared and so is the cut off marks.

As per the latest update, the Staff Selection Commission has announced that the result for MTS Paper-II 2019 can be released on October 31st 2020. Hence, candidates can expect the Multitasking Staff cut off 2019 paper II to be released soon. Keep track of SSC MTS Result for updates.

The result for Tier II was supposed to be declared on April 30th 2020, which was delayed due to lockdown in the whole country. SSC MTS Tier II cut off will decide the qualification of the candidate for appearing in the document verification process.

The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC MTS cut off for tier I exam 2019 on November 5th. The examination for tier I was conducted from 2nd to 22nd August 2019.

You should know that SSC MTS 2020 has two stages – Paper 1 (CBT) and Paper 2 (Descriptive). Here MTS Paper 2 exam is just qualifying in nature. The final merit list and SSC MTS cutoff score 2020 will be made based on the marks in MTS paper 1.

You should know that the vacancies are available for Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination. There are two age groups,

  • 18 to 25 years,
  • 18 to 27 years.

You will see different Cutoff marks for age group-wise, State/ UT-wise, and category-wise in SSC MTS Paper-I. You should keep in mind that the eligible aspirants for both the age-groups will be first considered in the age-group of 18-25 years.

SSC MTS Expected Cut Off 2020

Candidates willing to appear for SSC MTS 2020 must know that they have to attain the minimum score i.e. the minimum SSC MTS cut off marks decided by the Commission in Paper I of MTS exam. Only, then they will be called for the next process.

SSC MTS Cut Off Deciding Factors

SSC MTS Cut Off is the minimum qualifying marks that are mandatory for candidates to obtain in order to appear for the next round and clear the examination.  The SSC MTS Cut Off marks are decided based on certain factors.

Factors affecting SSC MTS Cut Off Marks

The cutoff marks for SSC MTS result is decided by the commission. The SSC decides the SSC MTS cut off based on certain factors. These factors are given below:

  1. The difficulty level of the SSC MTS question paper
  2. Total number of candidates appeared in SSC MTS examination
  3. SSC MTS previous cut off trends
  4. Average marks scored by candidates
  5. A total number of SSC MTS vacancy offered by the officials

SSC MTS Cutoff 2019

The vacancies for Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2019 have been received in two age groups i.e. (i) 18 to 25 years and (ii) 18 to 27 years. Therefore separate age group-wise, State/ UT-wise and category-wise cut-offs have been fixed in SSC MTS Paper-I.

SSC MTS Merit List 2020

Merit list contains the details such as name and roll numbers of selected candidates along with their marks obtained in the SSC MTS exam.

  • SSC MTS Result for Paper 1 will be declared in December 2020.
  • Qualified competitors’ names are listed in the SSC MTS merit list.
  • Candidates can check the result of Paper 1 by visiting the official website of SSC (Staff Selection Commission).
  • After the display of merit list, students will get selected to appear in Paper 2, which is a descriptive test.
  • The final result date for SSC MTS Exam is yet to be announced.

SSC MTS Selection Process 2020

The selection criterion for SSC MTS exam is qualifying the written tests. There are 2 stages in the selection process that the candidates would have to clear – Paper 1 and Paper 2. The first paper will be of objective type and will act as a preliminary test. Those who are able to attain the cut-off for Paper 1 will be required to appear for Paper 2.

SSC MTS Paper 2 will be descriptive in nature and will be the final exam. All those who are able to obtain the minimum cut-off for this one will have successfully qualified the exam. It must be noted that individual cut-off marks will be decided by SSC for each state or UT. Based on the performance of the candidate in Paper 1, they will be shortlisted for the second round of Paper 2 (if and only if, both the papers are not conducted on the same day). Those who clear both the rounds will be selected for SSC MTS recruitment and their names will appear in the final SSC MTS merit list.

The final selection of the candidate will be based on the verification of the certificates. Original certificates will be returned after the verification. Certified true copies or Photostat copies of the certificates will not be accepted in any case.
