Important: UPSC EPFO 2023 Eligibility Criteria

1- Nationality 

An IES 2023 Applicant must be either: 

• a citizen of India, or 
• a subject of Nepal, or 
• a subject of Bhutan, or 
• a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or 
• a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently setting in India.

2- UPSC EPFO Notification 2023 Age Limit

The maximum age limit to apply for the post of UPSC EPFO APFC 2023 is 35 years. The age relaxation as per the government norms is provided below. The age limit for this recruitment is 18-30 Years for EO/ AO and 18-35 years for APFC Posts.

3- Educational Criteria

Candidates that meet the following criteria will be prioritized:

Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the competent Authority/ Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. 2. Qualifications(s) regarding experience is/are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority/ Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes if, at any stage of selection, the competent Authority/ Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that a sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancies reserved for them.
Desirable	(a) Bachelor’s degree in Law/Integrated Five years Degree in Law/Master in Business Administration/ Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ Company Secretary/ Chartered Accountants/ Cost and Management Accountant (b) Two years experience in Administration/ Accounts/ Legal Matters in any government or Listed – Private Organisation.

• A new page opens. Now click on ‘Part-I Registration’. Enter the following details –
  • Name as per the matriculation/secondary examination certificate
