UGC NET Application form 2020 June Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the University Grant Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). This exam is conducted for the Assistant Professor or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Indian University & Colleges. UGC NET Registration is started on 16th March, 2020 and will be ended on April 16, 2020 (11:50 PM). The exam will be started on 15th June and ended on 20th June 2020. The result will be declared on 5th July 2020.

Educational Qualifications For UGC NET 2020 June

You should know that you can apply till 30 years of your age (reservation is available) for UGC NET JRF. There is no age limit for appearing in NET Exam for the post of Assistant Professor.

You should have the Educational Qualifications as given below. It is the essential UGC eligibility for the assistant professor’s job.

  • You must score at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) in Post-Graduation or equivalent from any recognized university.
  • If you are a Final year student, then you are also eligible to appear in the exam. But you will be accepted for the award of JRF or professorship after passing the academic exam with minimum qualifying marks.
  • If you are a PhD degree holders and post-graduation exam was completed before September 19, 1991, then you are provided with an additional relaxation of 5% in minimum marks requirement.

Age Limit

For JRF: You must not be more than 30 years of age as on 01-06-2020.

The age relaxation in the upper age limit of the candidate is applicable as per government rule.

However, the relaxation in the age limit shall not exceed 5 years.

How to Fill UGC NET Application Form June 2020?

Step 1: Fill the Application Form

  • You should register on the official website of UGC NET to apply for the same.
  • The online application form will be displayed. You have to enter the required details such as four preferences of exam center, NET subject, the course at PG level, reservation category, and other information.
  • Now you have to fill all the details and click on “Submit” option.
  • After submission, you can review the details entered by yourself. Now verify and click “Final Submit” button to submit the application form. You have to save the confirmation page.
  • After submission of the form application number will be generated. You should save the number as it is used to UGC NET log in and other uses.

Step 2: Uploading Scanned Images

You have to upload scanned images of your recent photograph and signature only in the specified format and dimensions.

Step 5: Application Fee Payment

  • After completion of the photo upload, you will be redirected to the fee payment portal.
  • You can quickly pay through online mode using debit/credit card or net banking and offline mode of E-Challan. If you want to pay through E-challan, you have to print out system-generated E-Challan and submit it along with the fee to any nearest Syndicate Bank/ ICICI/Canara Bank.
