NDA Exam 2021: The  UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) holds NDA (National Defense Academy) exams to recruit staff into the Indian army and navy. The Academy conducts exams twice every year, and this exam has two stages. The NDA entrance exam is a national-level exam that grants aspirants entry into the Indian Army, Air Force, and the Indian Naval Academy.

NDA 2021 Exam | Overview

The UPSC board conducts the NDA test in 41 major cities across the country. To apply for the NDA exam, you must fill and submit the form before the deadline. If you submit multiple applications for the same posts, the authorities will consider having a higher RID.

The UPSC also provides free AC III Tier trains as transportation for all those candidates who appear for the SSC Interview for the first time.

NDA Exam Notification

The NDA I 2021 notification was released on December 30, 2021, and the application withdrawal link was available until February 2, 2021. The NDA Exam 2021 has two stages, and the UPSC, the NDA’s governing body, selects those candidates who qualify in both the steps for the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force training facilities.

The NDA I 2021 exam will take place on April 18, 2021. Eligibility Criteria for NDA Exam

To be eligible to apply for the NDA Exam 2021, your age must lie between 17 and 20 years. Suppose you want to apply for the Army wing, in that case, you must have completed matriculation or 12th Grade or must have other such equivalent qualifications from a recognized state or central education board.

Also, as per NDA Eligibility Criteria, if you want to apply for a post in any other division, such as the Navy or the Air Force, you must have completed 12th Grade in Science.

NDA Exam Application Form

UPSC will release the Application Form for NDA 2 Exam by 09 June 2021. In the first step, you must apply for the exam by visiting the NDA’s official website. Note that you can submit your application only through the online mode.

The process for filling the application form consists of two parts: Part I and Part II. In Part I, you must fill all the necessary details by providing relevant information, such as your name, date of birth, and address.

The fee for processing the application is INR 100/-. You can pay this fee either through online or offline methods. To fill the NDA Application Form, follow the necessary steps:

  • Visit the official website of the NDA. Once there, click on the link that takes you to the page to fill in all the necessary details.
  • After you have completed filling out the application, verify the factual correctness of all the details that you have entered. The authorities won’t allow you to fill the application form a second time or make corrections.
  • In part 2, you must upload a recent passport-sized photo of yours and your signature to go with it. You must also select the center where you want to write the exam.
  • Pay the Application Fees.
  • Take a printout of the application form for your reference.

NDA Exam Syllabus

  • The first part, that is, ‘A,’ is Mathematics.
  • The second part, ‘B,’ consists of English and General Knowledge.

NDA Exam Admit Card for 2021 Exam

NDA always releases the admit card three weeks before the exams begin. Between the third week of March 2021 and the end of August 2021, the NDA Exam Admit Card 2021 for NDA 1 and NDA 2 exams expected to release on its official website.

To download the admit card, follow the below-mentioned steps:

  1. Log in to the official website.
  2. Once there, click on the link that says ‘Admit Card.’
  3. After that, enter all the necessary details, such as the roll number or registration number and the password or date of birth.
  4. The admit card will appear on the screen, carrying vital information such as the exam center and the code.
  5. Take a printout of the same.

You must note that they must take the admit card to the exam center, failing not to write the exam. In addition to the admit card, you must also carry valid government identity proof, such as your Aadhaar Card or PAN card, for verification purposes.

NDA Exam Cut Off Marks

Every year, the UPSC sets the cut-off marks for the NDA exam. And only those candidates who secure the cut-off marks will be eligible for the interview and other stages in the selection process.

For the year 2021, the authorities have fixed 342 as the NDA Cut Off score for the written exam. Similarly, they have set 708 as the final cut-off marks.

NDA 2021 Exam Result

The UPSC publishes the results in two stages. In the first stage, you will get the results of the written examination. While in the second stage, you will get the final NDA Exam Result. The governing body publishes the results in PDF format and consists of the roll number of those candidates who qualify for the next stage in the selection process, which is the interview.
