ICAI CA Intermediate Exam 2020: CA Intermediate Exam is the second-level examination of the CA course which is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). The students who have passed the 12 and CA Foundation courses are eligible for CA Intermediate Exam. In this level, students’ working knowledge of the subjects is tested.

ICAI CA Intermediate Exam 2020

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the revised dates for the exams of CA intermediate 2020, which were declared to be held in the month of May 2020. Now, the exams of CA intermediate 2020 will be held from July 30 to August 16. The candidates are advised to prepare for their CA intermediate 2020 exam as per the new date sheet.

ICAI CA Intermediate Exam Registration

The eligible students can apply for the CA intermediate exam registration on the official website of ICAI. Here, the students need to fill the online registration form along with the necessary information and then upload the required documents on the official website.

To complete the process of CA intermediate exam registration, the students need to submit the online fees. The registration fee of CA intermediate exam is as given below:

  • The fee for the students applying for a single group is Rs. 13, 000 /-
  • The fee for the students applying for both groups is Rs. 18, 000 /-

The students need to fill CA foundation exam form 2020 from ICAI official website. In the CA intermediate exam form, the students need to login/register with the help of registration number and password. ICAI CA intermediate Exam Pattern

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA intermediate exam pattern 2020. Before starting the preparation of the CA intermediate exam, the students must know the complete details of the exam pattern of the CA intermediate so as to prepare themselves efficiently and appear for the CA intermediate exam with the confidence to get good scores. The students must follow the below details as per the CA intermediate exam pattern:

  • CA intermediate exam is an offline exam which is conducted twice a year.
  • The question paper is in English or Hindi language which a student can select according to their preference.
  • Each paper is of 100 marks and the time duration is three hours for every paper.
  • The students can appear for any group or both groups according to their choice.
  • The CA Inter exam pattern has been changed. Now it comprises objective type questions with the weightage of 30% in Papers 2, 4, 6, and 7.
  • The remaining 70% weightage is of subjective type questions as same as earlier.
  • The objective type questions follow the MCQ pattern and maybe assigned one or more marks. There is not any negative marking for wrong answers.
  • The 1st question of each exam is mandatory and the choice of not attempting any question is given amongst the rest of the questions.
  • The students need to score 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% marks (200 for one group and 400 for both groups) to clear the exam.
