  • Step 9: After this, in the next screen, enter the required details like year of passing, roll number, etc.
  • Step 10: Click on the ‘get document’ button after which you can download your Result & Marksheet.

CBSE Class 12 Result 2020 through Umang App

Umang App is another method to check out the CBSE Class 12 result. Students need to download the app from the play store and follow the steps given below.

  • Start the installed Umang App.
  • You have to register yourself through your registered number.
  • After completion of your registration, you can see the notification of the result.
  • Now click on it and enter your exam, year, roll number, admit card id, and the school code.
  • After this, you will see your results on your screen.

CBSE Class 12 Board Exams Passing Criteria

Students will consider as pass the CBSE 12th board exams after fulfilling the criteria as given below:

  • A student should secure a grade higher than ‘E’ (that is, at least 33% marks) in all the five subjects of external exams in the main (or compartmental exams)
  • For practical work-related subjects, candidates should secure 33% marks in theory and 33% marks in practical. Apart from this, aspirants should have secured at least 33% marks in aggregate

Aspirants will be given a pass certificate by the Board if they get a grade above ‘E’ in all subjects of internal assessment. 

CGPA Grading System for the CBSE Class 12th 2020

The grading systems are given in alphabets, especially A, B, C, D, and E respectively. The Central Board of Secondary Education prepares the grading system for class 12. The nine-point grading system used to measure the curriculum achievements is as given below.
