Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has announced the GATE exam dates. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2021 exam will be conducted on February 5 to 7 and 12 to 14. GATE 2021 registration will start tentatively from August 2020. Two new subjects – have also been added in the GATE exam 2021.

Educational Qualifications For GATE Exam 2021:

  • Any Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology and those who are in the final year.
  • Any Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture and those who are in the last year.
  • All Bachelor’s degree holders of Four-year program in Science (B.S.) and those who are in the final year of such programs.
  • All MSc/Ms/MCA degree holders in or equivalent and last year students.
  • Holders of Four-year Integrated Master’s degree (Post B.Sc.) in Engineering/Technology and who are in the higher year.
  • All candidates of Five-year Integrated Master’s degree or Dual Degree in Engineering/Technology and who are appearing final years.
  • Holders of Five-year integrated M.Sc. or Five-year integrated B.Sc./M.Sc. Degree and those who are in the last year of such programs.

Latest GATE 2021 Registration Process

GATE 2021 application process was scheduled between 3rd September to 24th September  2021. Candidates can apply for the exam only through online mode. Let’s go through the steps involved in the application process:

GATE Enrolment Process

  • Registration – You can register through GOAPs, i.e. https://gate.iitd.ac.in. Fill all details like name, email id, and mobile number for registration and generate enrolment id.
  • You have to change the password for the future login. 
  • Filling of GATE Application Form – After registration, a completed application form will appear. Fill the application form correctly and choose the preferred exam centres.
  • Uploading Images – Now upload photograph, signature and category certificate (if applicable). 
  • Fee Payment – Pay application fees online through net banking/debit card/credit card. 
  • Application Form Submission – Now submit your application form. 
  • Download and printout the application form for future use.

  4. GATE 2021 would be the first of the GATE exam with seats reserved for EWS (Economical Weaker Section) aspirants.

GATE 2021 Admit Card

You have to download the GATE admit card from the GATE website according to GATE Notification 2021. GATE authorities will not be sent to the candidate by post/email.

  • The Admit Card for GATE 2021 will be available ONLY on GOAPS website.
  • You have to download his/her Admit Card from this website. The Admit Card would be available for download, tentatively from 1st week of January 2021.
  • You should carry a print-out of the downloaded Admit Card to the exam for verification along with the original and valid photo Identity Document.

GATE  2021 Result and Answer Keys

GATE 2021 result will be declared on March 16, 2021 according to GATE Notification 2021. You can download the result by following steps as below:

  • Visit the official website.
  • Go to the results page and click on GATE 2021 Result.
  • GOAPS portal for GATE would appear.
  • Fill in the login details on the portal.
  • Click on the submit tab.
  • From the GOAPS dashboard, you have to click on the results section.
  • Your GATE Result will be displayed on the screen.

GATE Cut Off 2021
