UPSC CAPF Notification 2021 | Eligibility 

To be able to apply for the UPSC CAPF 2021 Exam, you must fulfil the eligibility criteria. 

Nationality
  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • The candidates who are subjects to Nepal and Bhutan are also allowed to apply in the exam.
  • No other candidate can apply for the UPSC CAPF exam.
Age Limit The lower age limit for the CAPF exam is 20 years and the upper age limit is less than 25 years. The age of the candidate is calculated from August 1 of the exam year. For the candidates appearing in the UPSC CAPF exam 2021, the candidates must have been born not earlier than August 2, 1996, and not later than August 1, 2001.
Educational Qualification for CAPF 2021 As given in the official CAPF notification, “the candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university”. The candidates who are in the final year of their degree course can also apply for the exam but they have to produce the final year mark sheet of the qualifying exam with the detailed application form.
Possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificates: Candidates in the possession of NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate will be given preference at the time of Interview. It should be noted that these qualifications will be given consideration only at the time of the Interview/Personality Test.

UPSC CAPF Notification 2021 for Application Form

Step 1 – Visit the UPSC CAPF Official Website, www.upsconline.nic.in.

Step 2 – There are 2 stages of the application process.

Step 3 – Fill in all your details in the form, upload the scanned signature and photographs.

Step 4 – You must apply online well in time without waiting for the last date for submission of Online Applications.

CAPF Application Fee

  • The application fee is INR 200.
  • You can deposit the application fee in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using the net banking facility of the State Bank of India, or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card.
  • Reserved category candidates such as SC/ST are exempted from paying the application fee. All female candidates are also exempted from the application fee.

UPSC CAPF Notification 2021 | Exam Pattern

There are 3 stages in the UPSC CAPF 2021 Exam Pattern:

  • Written Examination
  • Physical Standards / Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Test
  • Interview/Personality Test

UPSC CAPF Notification 2021 | Selection Process

Stage 1 – Written Exam (450 Marks)

Paper I is an objective type paper and Paper II is the conventional essay type question paper having two parts. 

Stage 2 – Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests
