RS Aggarwal Solutions Class 7 Maths Chapter 17 Ex 17.2 – Overview

Side Angle Side Construction

The included angle is the angle that is formed between the two given sides of a polygon. The two triangles are said to be congruent if the two sides and one included angle of the first triangle is equivalent to the two sides and one included angle of the second triangle. This method is called the Side Angle Side – Construction postulate. In SAS, the angle is between the two SS i.e., the two sides.

Right Angled Triangle – Constructions (RHS)

The Right Angled Triangle is defined as the triangle having one of its three angles as 90 degrees. The remaining angles here are called the acute angles. The side making the right angle with the base is called the perpendicular side.

Construction of the Triangles – Using SSS Congruence

The three sides of anyone triangle are equivalent to the corresponding sides of another triangle. This way the two triangles are said to be congruent. The construction of the triangles using the SSS Congruence formula is possible only when all the three sides of the given triangle is known to us. If the three sides aren’t known to us, then we can not find that whether the SSS congruence property is true in a particular triangle or not.
