Railway RRB Group D Syllabus: RRB Group D exam is a very competitive exam. Aspirants are preparing for Railway group D exam must go through the RRB Group D exam syllabus and pattern to get a grasp of different sections from which questions will be asked in the exam. Railway RRB Group D Exam Pattern Stage 1 : Computer Based Test (CBT)

All the candidates who want to appear for the exam must check the Railway Group D exam pattern for CBT is as follows:

  • The RRB Group D Exam Pattern is a Computer Based Test
  • Secondly, the exam appears in Objective Type (MCQs)
  • The syllabus has a total of 4 sections: GK, Reasoning, Maths and General Science
  • There are a total of 100 questions in the exam, each question consisting of 1 mark
  • Moreover, the total time duration is 90 minutes (120 minutes for PWD candidates)
  • Also, there is a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer

Railway RRB Group D Exam Pattern for Stage 2 : Physical Efficiency Test

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – The second stage is necessary for all the candidates if they wish to get selected in the Railway Group D Recruitment Exam. The candidates should thoroughly go through the following table:

Able to lift and carry a weight of 35 kg for a distance of  100 meters in 2 minutes in only one chance without putting the weight down Able to lift and carry the weight of 20 Kg for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down

Railway RRB Group D Exam Pattern Stage 3 : Document Verification (DV)

On the basis of the performance of candidates in the CBT, candidates will be called for document verification

  • Shortlisted candidates need to produce a NOC from the employer on the date of his/her DV failing which their candidature would be cancelled
  • Signatures of the candidates on all the documents should be identical, either in English or Hindi
  • The candidate’s signature should match with the signature on their 10th official certificate
