RBI Grade B Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Limit
- The minimum age limit for candidates to apply is 21 years while the upper age limit is 30 years as on May 1, 2019.
- For candidates with M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.
- As per Government of India norms, Candidates falling under reserved category are eligible for relaxation in upper age limit
2. Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have an aggregate of 60% marks in the graduation while the same percentage is reduced to 50% for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
- Candidates having a Doctorate degree with aggregate 50% marks can also apply for the RBI examination.
- Candidates having masters’ degree with 55% marks can also apply for the exam
- Candidates having a postgraduate diploma in management or Masters of Business administration can also apply for the RBI exam.
- Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary or Cost Accountant can also apply for this examination.
RBI Grade B 2019 Application Form
Applications for RBI Grade B Examination 2019 can be filled through online mode only on the official website. Candidates willing to apply for posts in both Gr. B (DR)-General and Gr B (DR) DEPR / DSIM need to apply separately for each position along with requisite application fees. Below is the link to apply for the exam. The link will be activated once the application form is released.
Steps to Fill Application Form
Step 1: Visit the official website www.rbi.org.in and click on the link “Recruitment for the post of Officers in Gr. B (DR) General/DEPR/DSIM”
Step 2: Separate links for Online applications for Grade B -(DR)-General and DEPR/DSIM would be displayed.
Step 3: For fresh registration, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, and Email-id.
Step 4: A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system.
Step 5: An Email & SMS is sent to registered email ID and Mobile number. This contains Registration number and Password.
Step 6: Fill the remaining details in the application form.
Step 7: Upload scanned images of candidates recent photograph and signature, left-hand thumb impression and a handwritten declaration
Step 8: Next you will be redirected to the payment gateway. The application fees for General/OBC is Rs 850/- and for SC/ST/PWD is Rs 100/-.
Step 9: Take a printout of the successful payment receipt for future use.
Step 10: Click on ‘Save and next’. Verify all the details once again before submission of application form.

RBI Grade B 2019 Syllabus
The phase-1 exam is an objective type of examination conducted online. It will have mainly 4 sections: General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning.
Phase-2 exam of RBI Grade B 2019 is both objective & descriptive type. The major areas to focus upon are Economic & Social Issues, English Language and Finance & Management.

RBI Grade B 2019 Exam Cutoff
The cut off for RBI Grade B 2019 Exam will be released after each phase of examination is completed. The cut off for the Prelims exam will be released first followed by cut off for Mains exam. Candidates can evaluate their marks and increase their chances of selection by matching their score with the cut off list released by RBI.
