1. CLAT:

The Common Law Entrance Test also known as CLAT is a national-level centralized admission test to get admission into 18 national law universities in India. Every year, there is a huge number of candidates taking up this exam. This exam is conducted to get admission into the 3-year BA LLB course. Candidates who have completed the 12th Standard or Senior Secondary exam are eligible to take up the exam.

2. AILET:

The All India Law Entrance Test is administered by the National Law University in Delhi.  The University provides a variety of courses, including BA LLB, LLM, and PhD programs. The AILET Exam fills 83 seats in the BA LLB program and 40 seats in the LLM course. The BA LLB program also has 73 merit seats and 10 direct admissions for foreign nationals.

3. HPNLET:

Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, administers the HPNLET.
The University offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs.
The entrance exam is worth 150 points and takes two hours to complete. The HPNLET is administered offline, and the question paper is structured differently for each course.

4. DU LLB:

Every year, NTA administers the DU LLB Exam in order to offer admission to a three-year law program. The exam is given online and consists of multiple-choice questions. The DU LLB Entrance Exam is held once a year.

5. IPU CET Law:

IPU CET Law is administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Through this entrance exam, you can gain admission to UG law courses such as BA LLB and BBA LLB. IPU will provide 1700 BA LLB seats and 660 BBA LLB seats.

6. SLAT:

Symbiosis International University also administers the SLAT law entrance exam. This exam allows you to gain admission to BA LLB and BBA LLB programs. The exam consists of 150 objective questions covering logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, legal reasoning, reading comprehension, and general knowledge.

7. LSAT: Law School admission test or LSAT is a test of reading and verbal reasoning skills conducted four times every year. The test is conducted to get admission for LLB and LLM in reputed institutions. LSAT scores are accepted by reputed institutions like Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur Law School, Galgotias University Law School, Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradun and Amity Law School, and many more.

8. AIBE: The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is conducted for examining an advocate’s capability to practice the profession of law in India. The AIBE addresses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding of basic knowledge of the law. After passing the examination candidate will be awarded a “Certificate of Practice” by the Bar Council of India.
