Indian Air Force Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria for Group C

Senior Computer Operator – Graduate of a recognised university with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or statistics and one year of experience in electronic data processing.

Supdt (Store) – Graduate or equivalent of a recognised university.

Steno Gde-II.- 12th Class pass or equivalent from a recognised Board or University is required.

Lower Division Clerk (LDC) – 12th Class pass from a recognised board; computer typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi (35 wpm and 30 wmp equivalent to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions per word).

Hindi Typist: A 12th-grade diploma from a recognised institution is required. On the computer, a typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi (on an average of 5 key depressions for each word, 35 wpm and 30 wmp equate to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH).

Storekeeper- 12th Class or equivalent certification from a recognised Board or University is required.

Ordinary Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver: Passed matriculation or received an equivalent qualification from a recognised board or university. A valid Civil Driving License for light and heavy vehicles is required; Must be a skilled driver with a thorough understanding of motor mechanisms. Driving experience of at least two years is required.

Indian Air Force Exam Pattern & Selection Process

Selection Process for Group C Indian Air Force Recruitment

  • The applicants will be chosen based on their performance on a written test that will include I General Intelligence and Reasoning (ii) Numerical Aptitude (iii) General English (iv) General Awareness.
  • The question and answer sheet will be written in both English and Hindi.
  • Based on merit/category in the written test, a sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted and invited to participate in a skill/physical/practical test.

Selection Process for Group X & Y Indian Air Force Recruitment

The Exam has three phases.

Marking pattern for Online Test:

  • You will get one mark for every correct answer.
  • No negative marking for unattempted questions.
  • For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks shall be deducted.
  • If you qualify the first round, you will receive a new admit card on your registered e-mail ID for the Phase – II test.

Phase – IIPhysical Fitness Test (PFT), will consist of:

  • 1.6 Km run to be completed in 06 minutes and 30 seconds.
  • 10 Pushups
  • 10 Sit-ups
  • 20 Squats

Adaptability Test- I (For both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades): After passing the Physical Fitness Test (PFT), you have to undertake Adaptability Test-I (objective type written test).

Adaptability Test- II (For both Group ‘ X’ & Group ‘Y’ Trades): After successfully passing the Adaptability Test – I, you have to undertake Adaptability Test- II as per policy in vogue.

Phase – IIIMedical Examination shall be conducted by the Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and policy. The medical exam will include the following tests.

  • Blood Haemogram – Hb, TLC, DLC
  • Urine RE/ME
  • Biochemistry
    • Blood Sugar Fasting & PP
    • Serum Cholesterol
    • Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine
    • LFT—Serum Bilirubin, SGOT, SGPT
  • X-Ray chest (PA view)
  • ECG (R)
  • Tests for Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance Abuse

Indian Air Force Recruitment: How to apply for Group C?

Candidates who meet the requirements can apply to any of the aforementioned Air Force Stations, subject to openings and qualifications. IAF Salary Structure 2021

Pay & Allowances: During training, you will be paid a stipend of Rs. 14,600/- per month. After completion of training, you will get salary as per Military Service Pay (MSP) standard. Check the complete salary structure from the below.

(a) Group ‘X’ Trades (Except Education Instructor Trade): Rs.33,100/- per month plus Dearness allowance.

(b) Group ‘Y’ {Except IAF(S) and Musician} Trades: Rs. 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance.

Other Allowances: In addition to the above, you will get various allowances such as

  • Transport Allowance,
  • Composite Personal Maintenance Allowance (CPMA),
  • Leave Ration Allowance (LRA),
  • High Altitude Allowance,
  • Field Area/Modified Field Area Allowance,
  • HRA,
  • Children Education Allowance/ Hostel Subsidy etc.
