IBPS RRB Assistant preparation tips
Institute of Banking Personnel and Selection has released the official notification for the IBPS RRB office assistant exam on 14th of July 2019. Many young aspirants who are willing to get appointed in the one of the government job especially related to banking sector are looking forward to clear the examination with enough score to clear the criteria level to qualify for the post. As the exam is conducted nationally, there are many candidates who are keeping their eyes on those posts and this increases the competition level which will eventually increase the cut off range too.
This year the notification specifies about 3674 vacancies and only those who have worked hard enough to get clear the exam will only be able to get the post.
The examination is mainly held in two phases i.e. Preliminary exam and Main exam. One needs to clear the prelims exam to qualify for the Mains exam after clearing the mains, the candidates will be considered for provisional allotment.
IBPS RRB 2019 Office Assistant Preliminary Exam will be conducted on 17th, 18th & 25th August 2019 and the mains exam for the same will be conducted on 29th September 2019.
The syllabus of the prelims contains mainly topic related to two subjects that are reasoning ability and quantitative aptitude each containing 40 marks which total to 80 marks and you will be required to complete it in 45 minutes. If you select proper bank exam study materials then you will be able to complete the examination on time. The main key is practicing and without it you won’t be able to clear the 1st stage itself.
The Mains exam is completely different from prelims and so is its syllabus. There are total 5 sections which you need to keep your focus on that are Reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, general awareness and English language and Computer knowledge. The total for each section sums up to 200 marks and the candidates are required to complete the whole paper in 2 hours. It would be a challenging task to do but with proper bank clerk books and practice you can achieve it easily.

IBPS RRB Assistant Prelims and mains exam preparation
This should be your top priority where you will need to get through the cut-off range by improving your abilities in solving the questionnaires related to prelims and mains syllabus. You will be requiring some bank exam study materials to improve it in much better scale.
Focus on main subjects
In the syllabus there will be few contents which aren’t important and you may need to skip them for later and focus on those questionnaires which require more attention. Few Bank exam study materials focus only on those types of contents.
Do not get distracted
Distraction is natural thing amongst youngster while preparing for any examination. But if you are willing to clear the exam, then you are advised not to lose your track and focus on the subject till your exam is over
Revise important topics
Always maintain a note of all the content you have learnt or have come across. This way you will be able to revise the topics during examination time period.
Practice and Manage Time properly
It is an important factor to get an accurate answer in minimum time period. This can only be possible if you did amply practice of the sample paper provided along with various bank clerk mock test that can be used to know you weakness and to improve them.
