CUCET known as the Central University Common Entrance Test was the precursor to CUET and has been conducted since 2010 to facilitate admissions into several central Universities for 1500 seats in 41 undergraduate, postgraduate as well as Integrated courses. 

Now the CUET has been revamped in 2023. This is the Common University Entrance Test which is primarily conducted by the National Testing Agency known as NTA as the undergraduate entrance test for all the central Universities.

CUET 2022 Important Dates

The application process shall open from the first week of April till the last week of the month in 2023. You have to apply for it on the official website of CUET. The exam pattern is divided into four major sections which are Section 1A, Section 1B, Section II, and Section III.

Steps To Fill The CUET Application Form 2023

In order to fill out the CUET application form 2023 keep in mind that the National Testing Agency shall release the application form in the first week of February 2023 on the official website. The form must be filled with the utmost attention. Make sure the information you fill in the form is accurate. NTA has also specified the steps needed to be followed on the website. You must log in to fill in the details of the exam where you have to upload your personal information such as photo and signature along with the class 12 mark sheet.

Step 1: First, read the given instructions carefully to understand the procedure after reading the instructions you have to mark the declaration box and click on the “proceed further “tab.

Step 2: The registration form shall now be displayed on the screen. In the first section of the application, form candidates have to provide their Personal details which include name, date of birth, father’s name mother’s name gender nationality, and identity proof. Next, you have to fill in your mobile number and present your address.

Step 3: After this, a password has to be created and re-entered to confirm it followed by a security question update. This will require a pin that you shall receive and finally press submit to complete the registration process

Step 4: You shall be diverted to a review page where you must check the details in all sections of the application form. Next, candidates need to verify 8 particular details by marking the box given beside the declaration.

Step 5: Towards the end select the university and program of your choice and press the “add” button to choose your slots and subjects as well. 

Step 6: You will then have to upload your personal documents and click on submit after a thorough review of the documents

Document Required for the CUET Registration

The major documents required to fill in the CUET 2023 registration included scanned images of photographs and signatures. The category certificates if you belong to the reserved category. The payment will be done through internet banking as a part of the registration process fee 2023.
Moreover, you would require photo identity proof such as an Adhar card, bank passbook, or ration card copy. Mandatory documents also include scanned copies of grade 10th and 12th mark sheets ls. An active email id and a valid mobile number.
