CAT Exam 2016 error correction process activated: Apply before October 5 :
This is the first time that an error correction process is available and the applicants can apply from October 1 to October 5.
The error correction process in the application forms of CAT Exam 2016 has been started from October 1.
CAT Exam 2016: Error correction in application form activated; 3 types of changes allowed.
In case of any mistake made while filling in the CAT 2016 registration form, candidates have 5 days to rectify these errors. The activation of the error correction module by IIM Bangalore is with a rider that only limited 3 type of mistakes can be corrected.
CAT Exam 2016 exam center has activated today the error correction module to change certain details in the submitted application form for CAT Exam 2016. For the first time, CAT Exam 2016 has enabled an option to correct mistakes, discovered after submission of the CAT application. The error correction option is available on the CAT Application form Webpage from October 1 to 5, 2016 and will close after that.

The Common Entrance Test (CAT) is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, December 4 by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).The examination is conducted for admission in various management programmes.
All the candidates who successfully clear the selection process will get admitted in 20 different IIM institutes.
Registration process for CAT 2016 was opened on August 8, and was closed at 5 PM on September 27 after getting an extension of 5 days from the earlier last date of September 22, 2016.
CAT 2016 exam will be held as computer based test in 138 test cities across the country on December 4, 2016 in morning and afternoon sessions. The exam will consist of 3 sections namely Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension; Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning; and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam will be of 3 hours with sectional time limit of 1 hour each. The admit card with all the requisite details including the test city & venue, allotted time slot will be available on CAT 2016 website from October 18 till exam date.
