Book Summary:

Today, many books are available in the market which deals with Indian and Global Economy providing different perspectives. These books are either too academically oriented, leaving little scope for pragmatic issues or too brief, neglecting basic concepts and theories. This book is an attempt to fill that gap. It is my conviction that any person aspiring to become a good professional economist has to possess both knowledge of Indian and Global Economic concepts and an awareness of the implications of such concepts in practice. Possessing merely either of this, i.e. conceptual knowledge without understanding practical implications or indulging in Indian and global economic practices without possessing theoretical perspective can never be adequate.
