Experimental Biopharmaceutics And Pharmacokinetics by Prof. Dr. A. V. Yadav, Mr. V. B. Yadav, Mr. A. S. Shete
The science and technology of drug development has grown rapidly during last three decades. Pharma industries are actively engaged in drug product development, formulation development and filling ANDA seems most favoured activity in pharma industry today. Keeping pace with the changing trends in the industry the curriculum of undergraduate classes in pharmacy have been adequately upgraded by most of the universities in India. One of the major changes in the curriculum is the inclusion of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics in senior classes of undergraduate curriculum.
It is expected that the graduates in pharmacy should have adequate exposure to fundamental concepts of Biopharmaceutics and Pharmacokinetics. Recognizing the need of a book on this subject, an attempt is made here to provide the readers with concise information on the concerned topics. Each chapter begins with the definition of terms and explaining the concepts. The experimental set-up along with systematic steps required to conduct the experiment has been given. Systematic means of recording the observations has been explained. The mathematical and graphical modes of processing the data obtained in the experiments are also explained.
