Consumer protection refers to the laws and other forms of government regulation designed to protect consumers. The objective of this subject is to create awareness amongst students in relation to consumer protection who are present and future consumers. This book comprises of four units which classify the concept of consumer protection, E- Commerce, E-Education, and other related aspects.
Consumers play a vital role in the economic system of a nation. Without consumer demand, producers would lack one of the key motivations to produce and to sell to consumers. In a value chain, consumers play a very important role in driving the sales of a business. They are the ones that directly or indirectly affect the profit margin of the company. Any business should carefully understand the needs of the customer whether it is a latent or a basic need. The knowledge will help the students to be a competent businessmen and a vigilant consumer.
