Staff Selection Commission (SSC) (Hindi: कर्मचारी चयन आयोग) is an organization under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in the various Ministries and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices. It is tasked with the job of carrying out recruitment for Group B and Group C non-gazetted posts (both technical and non-technical) for central government departments as well as various autonomous organizations.
