This book has been written keeping in mind the ‘G-Scheme’ curriculum designed by MSBTE w.e.f. June 2014 for the students appearing for Third Year Diploma in various branches of Electronics Engineering.
We are happy to introduce the book entitled ‘Microcontroller’ for students of Polytechnics in Maharashtra. This text can serve as a self learning tool for diploma students. The language of the book has been kept simple, straight forward and easy to understand specially for Marathi medium students. In this text, we have adopted top-down approach. We have presented 8051 microcontroller in embedded system point of view. The concept specific to 8051 have been explained in detail with several examples. The Chapter no. 3 is self explanatory. Students can download Keil software from www.keil.com and develop 8051 based embedded software. Chapter no. 4 and 5 are the most important chapters from the embedded software design point of view. Timer, serial port and Interrupt of 8051 are explained in detail. The peripheral devices are covered in detail in Chapter 6.
