Agriculture abroad may be merely a vocation, but for we the people of India, It is much more than that. It has been a way of life for us. For centuries, our culture, our festivals, our traditions and even our trade and business activities were strongly linked to Agriculture. Even now 70 per cent of our population resides in villages and its occupation continues to be predominantly agricultural. Barring China in no other country of the world, do so many people depend entirely on agriculture for their livelihood.
