The candidates must check the RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria before applying. It is because:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The verification of RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria is done with respect to original documents.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>This verification is done for the candidate after the completion of all the stages and when the candidate has qualified them all. This round is known as the Document Verification Round.<\/li>\n<li>If the candidate does not meet any of the conditions as stated in the criteria then he\/she will not be eligible for the post.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>In a case where a candidate is appointed and later, does not meet the criteria then he\/she will be removed from service.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>The offer of an appointment is given only when the candidate meets the eligibility criteria. This eligibility certificate is issued to the candidate by the Government of India.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"rrb-group-d-eligibility-criteria-2024\"><\/span>RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria 2024<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are four main aspects that a candidate needs to fulfill in order to be eligible for the RRB Group D exams. These aspects are the following:\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>RRB Group D Age Limit<\/li>\n<li>RRB Group D Citizenship\/Nationality<\/li>\n<li>RRB Group D Educational Qualification<\/li>\n<li>RRB Group D Medical Qualification<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"1-rrb-group-d-eligibility-criteria-age-limit\"><\/span><strong>1. RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria: Age Limit<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>The upper and lower age limit has been set by the Railway Recruitment Board for the candidates who are willing to apply for the post in RRC Group D. The candidates who are applying for the posts in RRC Level 1 must be of the age group of 18 to 33 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The age limit can be stated as follows for the RRB Group D:<\/p>\n<p>Lower Age limit \u2013 18 years<\/p>\n<p>Upper age limit \u2013 33 years<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>In case a candidate is found to be eligible for age relaxation on more than one ground, then only the highest of the limits (not cumulative) will be accorded to him for which he is eligible.<\/li>\n<li>No relaxation will be given to the candidates who belong to the SC\/ST\/OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) and are applying against unreserved vacancies.<\/li>\n<li>Age relaxation will be given to the PWBD candidates who are applying against the UR vacancies. This will be applicable for UR PWBD only.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2-rrb-group-d-eligibility-criteria-nationality\"><\/span><strong>2. RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria: Nationality<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Another requirement for the candidate to fulfill in the RRB Group D Eligibility is the Nationality or Citizenship Criteria. This should be met by the candidates in order to appear for the Group D Level 1 exam of the Railway Board.<\/p>\n<p>The candidate who fulfills this criteria will only be allowed to appear for the examination. A candidate who is:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>A citizen of India, or<\/li>\n<li>A subject of Nepal, or<\/li>\n<li>A subject of Bhutan, or<\/li>\n<li>A Tibetan refugee permanently settled in India from and before January 1, 1962.<\/li>\n<li>A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If a candidate who belongs to categories (2), (3), (4) and (5) presents a certificate to the recruiting body of eligibility issued by the Government of India, then he can be eligible.\u00a0<\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3-rrb-group-d-eligibility-criteria-education-qualification\"><\/span><strong>3. RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria: Education Qualification<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>A minimum level of education qualification should be met by the candidate in order to give the RRB Group D exam.<\/p>\n<p>The RRB Group D Eligibility requisites for the same are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Class 10th pass certificate OR<\/li>\n<li>ITI degree or diploma<\/li>\n<li>Any of the above degrees from a government recognized institution\/Board\/NCVT\/SCVT is valid.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4-rrb-group-d-eligibility-criteria-medical-standard\"><\/span><strong>4. This is conducted by the Railway Administration in which the candidate has to pass the prescribed medical fitness tests.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>These medical tests are conducted by the board so that it can be ensured that the duties can be carried out by the candidate for whichever post he has opted for.
