The Prelims exam is the Objective type test and the Mains exam is the Objective as well as descriptive type test. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">However, the notification for the exam is yet to release. It is also known as the Preliminary Exam or Phase-I Exam. This is just the qualifying exam in nature. Also, it is an objective type paper and it is of only 1 hour. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The question paper will appear in both English and Hindi Language, except the English Language section. This exam is conducted for 250 marks and the total duration of the test is 2 hours 30 minutes. The candidates who clear the Tier-II Exam only become eligible for this stage of the examination. The sections are Technical and Professional knowledge test in the specified discipline such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness.
