marks required for eligibility for the test are <strong>60%<\/strong>. Since there are reservations in the test, minimum marks for eligibility vary among the candidates of reserved categories. Reserved category candidates need to obtain 55 percent or more marks in the exam.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Aspiring applicants from scheduled castes, scheduled tribes, other backward classes, and specially-abled categories are offered a relaxation on the basis of their respective categories.<\/li>\n<li>For the posts of class I to class VIII, teachers are appointed through the CBSE-conducted Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) held every year.<\/li>\n<li>The written test for CTET consists of two papers &#8211; Paper I and Paper II.<\/li>\n<li>Paper I is for those applicants who seek a teaching post in classes from I to V, Applicants who wish to teach students in classes from I to V must clear the Paper-I<\/li>\n<li>Paper II is for those who wish to get a teaching job for classes from VI to VIII.
