responsibilities for the position:<\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform period closing activities and validation checks after closing.<\/li>\n<li>Handle Fixed Assets accounting and monitor Capital budget.<\/li>\n<li>Record acquisitions and disposals of fixed assets in the accounting system.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct periodic reviews of the fixed asset schedule to identify disposals and idle assets, if any.<\/li>\n<li>Reconcile the balance in the fixed asset subsidiary ledger with the general ledger.<\/li>\n<li>Run depreciation calculations for all fixed assets.<\/li>\n<li>Forecast depreciation for budgeting purposes, including projected spending.<\/li>\n<li>Account for Restructuring Projects and perform complex analysis, such as impairment or restructuring projects and new plant setups.<\/li>\n<li>Generate monthly Plant Performance Reports.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct MWIP Report and Analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Perform adjustments to the fixed asset master data.<\/li>\n<li>Provide fixed asset data to support tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct year-end asset accounting.<\/li>\n<li>Undertake to cost of new products and periodic cost revisions.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate, post, and allocate journal entries.<\/li>\n<li>Allocate overheads to products based on the stage of processing.<\/li>\n<li>Review cost centers and resolve discrepancies, if any.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare daily\/weekly purchase price variance analysis report.<\/li>\n<li>Settle internal orders on a daily\/weekly basis.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare monthly costing reports.<\/li>\n<li>Post monthly standard and judgment-based accruals.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate, review, and approve inventory reserve requirements, including Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) inventory.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze product-wise profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Perform process reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li>Analyze actual costs against budgeted costs and explain variances.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare standard cost calculations for commercial and manufacturing sites.<\/li>\n<li>Perform budget costing.<\/li>\n<li>Perform complex analysis to provide insights, such as global category types.<\/li>\n<li>Perform monthly reconciliations between Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and Profitability Analysis (PA).<\/li>\n<li>Perform assessment and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"qualifications-for-this-job\"><\/span>Qualifications for this Job<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<p>The following are the requirements and qualifications for the position:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Required qualification: B.Com or CWA (Cost and Works Accountant).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum experience required: 3+ years.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in SAP software.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in month-end closing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Desirable knowledge of Excel, Macros, Scripting, and GL (General Ledger)
