machines – open vent, closed vent and piston fillers.<\/p>\n

Packaging Materials: Polymer Films\u00a0 – Physical, chemical and permeability<\/p>\n

properties, manufacturing methods, testing and identification, permeability<\/p>\n

modeling, migration of chemicals.<\/p>\n

Metal Containers: Strength requirement, seaming and coating properties,<\/p>\n

contamination from lacquers.<\/p>\n

Flexible Packages: Paperboard, lamination and sealing techniques,<\/p>\n

machinery for forming packages.<\/p>\n

Special Packing: Gas, vacuum and aseptic packaging.<\/p>\n

Food Packaging: Requirements for cereals, meat, poultry, fish, milk,<\/p>\n

vegetables, fruits, plantation crop based products and carbonated<\/p>\n

Storage Principle and Practice: Storage losses and their estimation: Modified<\/p>\n

and control atmosphere storage: Bin and silo storage for cereals and pulses;<\/p>\n

Loss in cereal quality – insect and pest control. Design of storage structures<\/p>\n
