Relations and Functions is the subject of Exercise 2.2 of NCERT Solutions Class 11 Maths Chapter 2- Relations and Functions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A subset of the cartesian product A B is a relation R from a non-empty set A to a non-empty set B. The subset is calculated by characterising the relationship between the first and second elements of the ordered pairs in A and B. The picture of the first element is the second element.<\/li>\n<li>The domain of the relation R is the set of all initial elements of ordered pairs in a relation R from set A to set B.<\/li>\n<li>The range of a relation R is the set of all second elements in a relation R from a set A to a set B. The codomain of the relation R is the entire set B.
