SSC CGL Eligibility: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) proposes detailed qualification requirements for the SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL) for applicants. With regard to Nationality, Academic credentials, Age Limits, and Reservations for applicants, the Commission establishes the eligibility requirements.
It has been noticed that many applicants apply for the position without considering the age criteria of the SSC CGL Exam 2024, and in turn, their application gets denied. As per Nationality, SSC CGL Eligibility Requirements specify an applicant be a citizen of the listed states only. A candidate must comply with all of the mentioned criteria:
Note: The official announcement states, 'An applicant for whom a certification of eligibility is required can be allowed to the assessment, but the appointment proposal will be rendered only after the Government of India has provided the appropriate certificate of eligibility.'

Note: All students undergoing examinations for the final year of graduation are also qualified to register for SSC CGL 2024 Exam. However, on or before August 1, 2024, such applicants must fulfill the essential qualification.
There is one more SSC CGL Eligibility standard that an applicant must satisfy is the Physical Fitness Norm. This requirement is applicable to the applicants applying for the following positions:

NOTE: For the applicants applying for the role of Inspector (Central Excise/ Examiner/ Preventive Officer), persons with disabilities will have to comply with the physical requirements that are height, chest, and weight as recommended for the relevant post. However, for orthopedically disabled candidates, the following relaxation in Physical Test is allowed:
