CSEET Syllabus and Exam Pattern: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has updated the CSEET syllabus on its website - icsi.edu. The exam body is conducting online classes to cover CSEET 2023 syllabus. The classes will be conducted over a duration of 20 days. Thus, before appearing for CS Foundation Exam, students must check the CSEET Exam Syllabus and Exam Pattern to know the CSEET subjects and important topics that will be covered in the exam so as to prepare accordingly.

There are four papers in total for CSEET 2023 examination. Each paper in CSEET Syllabus is divided into parts according to units covered within them. Candidates should go through the units carefully and make an assessment of the syllabus.
However, the first three papers in CSEET Syllabus and Exam Pattern shall be having 35 questions, and the fourth paper of current affairs with 15 questions. Out of the total 200 marks, candidates should score at least 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each paper to be declared as a pass.

Paper 1 of the CSEET Syllabus 2023 is divided into 4 units. Unit 1, i.e., Essentials of Good English of the paper is designed to test the knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary of the candidate and the other three units will test his/her understanding of various aspects of communication in business-

Paper 2 of the CSEET Syllabus 2023 is designed to test the basic understanding of Laws, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning skills of the candidates. The paper is divided into two parts- first part consists of five units to test the candidates’ knowledge of the Indian Constitution, company laws, and legislation.

PART B: FUNDAMENTALS OF AUDITING (30 MARKS)
You must know that there will be negative marking for the CSEET 2023. Applicants need to be familiar with the latest updates and changes in the CS Syllabus and Exam Pattern contents up to the date of examination.
CSEET 2023 exam shall be conducted in CBT mode with a viva voice round. The first three papers along with part A of paper 4 are all to be carried out through CBT. Viva's Voice is an oral and written round.
