What Is CFA And How To Become One?

              

Meet Eligibility Requirements: To enroll in the CFA Program, you must have a bachelor's degree (or be in the final year of your bachelor's degree program) or have equivalent education or work experience. You also need to have a valid international travel passport. 

              

Enroll in the CFA Program: Register for the CFA Program through the CFA Institute's website. Pay the enrollment and registration fees. 

              

Study for the Exams: The CFA Program consists of three levels of exams, namely Level I, Level II, and Level III. Each level covers a broad range of topics including ethics, quantitative methods, economics, financial reporting and analysis, corporate finance, equity investments 

              

Pass the Exams: Pass each level of the CFA exam. The exams are administered annually in June for all three levels, with an additional exam offered for Level I candidates in December. 

              

Gain Relevant Work Experience: In addition to passing the exams, candidates need to acquire four years of relevant work experience in investment decision making.  

              

Join the CFA Institute: Once you have passed all three levels of the CFA exam and obtained the required work experience, you can apply for regular membership with the CFA Institute.  

              

Use the CFA Designation: After becoming a member of the CFA Institute, you can use the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation
