8 Tips to Avoid Negative Marking in NEET 2023

Read Every Question Twice to Avoid Erroneous Marking - Students are given instructions at the start of each exam. You must attentively read the entire question and consider what they are asking.

Adhere to NEET Guidelines -  It is essential to follow the instructions to avoid earning a poor grade on the NEET test. Ensure that you fill out the response circles on the OMR page accurately and there is no overlapping.

Read all Options Carefully -  After reading the question and seeing the first option, you would mark ‘a as your pick without reading the rest options. The worst thing you can do is answer the question wrongly that you already know the answer to.

Don’t Be Overconfident -  Being confident about the exam is good; however, make sure not to go overboard and become careless while attempting questions.

Skip Doubtful Questions -  Don’t attempt any question you are doubtful about. If you get stuck on a question that is eating away your time or you are not confident about it, skip it but do not attempt it in a hurry.

Stop Stressing Out -  When a question paper is handed to students, most of them stress out about the questions they do not know. It is crucial to beat stress and try to remain calm for better results.

Never Choose Two Answers -  While attempting the NEET exam, it is necessary to follow the guidelines to avoid any kind of negative marking such as not choosing two answers for one question in the OMR sheet.

Avoid Oral Calculation -  do not attempt to solve any questions by calculating orally. Always use pen and paper to do calculations. That’s how you will be sure about the correctness of the answers.
