1. (a) Explain additive and subtractive mixing.

(b) What is the function of a SAWfilter.

2. (a). Explain interlaced scanning in detail with the hetlpota neat diagram and explain how it is better than requential scanning.

(b) State the reason for the following :-

(i) InTV system elm deflection and els focussing is used.

(ii) AllTV systems have odd number of scanning lines.

 

3. (a) Draw a block diagram of a monochrome TVtransmitter and explain the function of each block.
