The Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) exam was scheduled earlier on May 2, 2019. But currently due to the General Elections, the ICAI CA Exam is postponed. The Institute of Chartered Accountancy of India (ICAI) has rescheduled the Chartered Accountants (CA) examination to May 27, 2019, on the account of the General Election 2019.
According to the reports, ICAI said that in the view of Elections to the 17th Lok Sabha Parliamentary Constituencies across the country, spanning April-May, 2019, the CA Examinations is postponed to May 17, 2019. The CA Exam will be conducted from May 27, 2019, to June 12, 2019.
The foundation course exam will be conducted on June 4, 7, 9, and 11, 2019. Intermediate (IPC) course of CA exam will be conducted in two groups. IPC group 1 on May 29, 30 and June 1 and 3, 2019. IPC group II exam will be conducted on June 6, 8 and 10, 2019. Thus, due to the Loksabha Parliamentary Elections, the Intermediate course exam group I will be conducted on May 29, 30, June 1 and 3, 2019, and group 2 will be held on June 6, 8, 10 and 12, 2019.
Further, the final course of the ICAI CA exam will be conducted on May 27, 29, 31 and May 2, 2019. Group II June 4, 7, 9 and 11, 2019. The final CA exam will now be conducted on May 27, 29, 31 of May and June 2, 2019. and group II of the final exam will be held on June 4, 7, 9 and 11, 2019.
The application process is still going on. Candidates who have still not registered can visit the official website of ICAI: icaiexam.icai.org to apply for the ICAI CA Exam. The last date to fill the applications is on March 16, 2019. The exams will be conducted over 139 exam centers across the country. Additionally, there are five foreign centers where the exam will be conducted.
