Heart and Cardiovascular System, Electrocardiography.
UNIT – III
Measurements of Biological Parameters:
Measurement of Blood Flow, Measurement of Heart Sound,
Measurement of Temperature, Ultrasonic Diagnosis.
UNIT – IV
Patient Care and Monitoring:
The Elements of Intensive Care Monitoring, Pacemakers, Defibrillators,
Electrical Safety of Medical Equipment.
UNIT – V
Introduction, Physiological parameters Adaptable to Biotelemetry, The components of a
Biotelemetry System, Implantable Units, Applications of Telemetry in Patient care.
