 To learn the fundamental concepts of management, it’s function & managerial role. how these concepts can help any engineer to get edge over others in performing better.
 To learn how does understanding environment, organization – structure, design and culture can help in employee survival in any organization.
 To understand team spirit & leadership qualities and it’s importance in organization.
 To understand ‘total quality management’ and it’s contribution in updating working pattern and attitude of any employee.

D. Method and Pedagogy:
 Instructional introduction class for subject em 201 ‘fundamentals of management’ will be conducted at the beginning of the session.
 Lectures will be taken in class room with the use of multi-media presentations, black/white board.
 Assignments based on above course content will be given to the students at the end of each topic.
 Test will be conducted at regular interval.
 Case study may be considered in place of assignment.
 Educational game may be the part of teaching at the end of the unit.
