CBSE Registration Procedure For Class 10 & Class 12

Candidates can register for the board examination from the official website – cbse.nic.in and link of the registration portal will be soon updated on this page as well.

Candidates must be careful while filling the information in the registration form since the same information will be printed on the admit card also.

CBSE Registration Procedure For Class 10

  • Step 1: Visit CBSE official site– cbse.nic.in and click on “LOC.”
  • Step 2: From the tab on the left side of the page, select the type of examination.
  • Step 3: Options will be shown as Compartment, Improvement, Failure or Additional Subject. 
  • Step 4: Enter the board examinations number where you need to enter 5-digit School Number along with the Center Number and select your standard as 10th.
  • Step 5: Proceed and pay the examination fees.
  • Step 6: Check the particulars filled in the form and then click on the submit button.
  • Step 7: Take the print-out of the submitted form for further reference.

CBSE Registration Procedure For Class 12

  • Step 1: Visit the official CBSE website of the board– cbse.nic.in
  • Step 2: Select Online Application for the main exam 2020 (Class XII)
  • Step 3: Select the registration for the class 12th.
  • Step 4: Enter the board examination number where you need to enter the 5-digit School number, center number and then select your standard as 12.
  • Step 5: Pay the examination fee.
  • Step 6: Finish your application process.
  • Step 7: Download the confirmation page and take a print-out of the same.

 Note:

For Class 10 students:

No external examiners would be allotted for Class 10 practical/ internal examinations.

For Class 12:

  • There are two types of break ups – the subjects with 70+30 break up and the subjects with 80+20 break up.
  • For 70+30, external examiners would be appointed and would conduct the practical exams at the respective schools.
  • The board has not yet finalized whether the exams would be held at other schools. Updates would be published by the board soon.
  • For the 80+20 break up subjects, the assessment was done externally till last year. The board has not yet announced whether external examiners would be appointed or would the subjects be assessed internally.
