IES Application Fee - Candidates are required to pay Rs 200 as an application fee to successfully submit the application form. One can pay IES application either by depositing the money in any SBI branch by cash or through an online payment.

Physical Criteria - Candidates finally recommended by the Commission on the basis of the Engineering Services Examination, 2023 shall be required to undergo a medical examination.

Nationality - A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination but the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him/her by the Government of India.

Education qualification - Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) or Passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India.

Age limit - A candidate for this examination must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st January, 2023. i.e., he/she must have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 1993 and not later than 1st January 2002.
