JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a two tier examination (Main & Advanced) regulated by CBSE Board. Candidates can get admissions in B.Tech/B.Arch programs offered by NITs, IIIT and other engineering institutions through JEE Main exam while IITs offer these courses through JEE Advanced exam.

JEE Advance Unlike JEE Mains, JEE Advanced have a different paper pattern. In JEE Mains, there is only multiple choice questions, whereas in JEE advanced there are 3 different ways/modes of questions asked based on Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Choice Questions, Match the following.
Paper based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics where Paper 1 consist of 60 questions of 264 marks & Paper 1 consist of 60 questions of 240 marks.
The syllabus for JEE Advanced is mapped according to the NCERT curriculum. The syllabus for JEE Advance is same as the JEE Mains whereas the weightage for the topics differ.
