About this eBook

PREFACE After the success of my previous book A Handbook of Medicinal Herbs . A source Book of Herbal Remedies, Chemical Constituents, Biological Properties and Usages. I have received many calls, personal discussions and requests that the book has covered a very little of or only a 300 number of plants. Indeed, it was true a single book could not cover the ocean of herbs that is surrounding us. Secondly with increase in usage of herbs as a curative measure or a call of Back to the Nature people wants to get acquainted with much more coverage of large number of plants and plant material available in house hold and surrounding, our farm yard or their availability with ease. Hence, the present book is covering the data of nearly 275 more plants featuring their Morphology, Parts Useful, Chemical Constituents, their Biological Properties and Usage as home or house hold remedies. I am thankful to Shri Vinod Athavale and his associates from Ameya Computers, Dharampeth, Nagpur for composition of the text matters. I am indepthly grateful to my parents, to my wife Mrs Deepika and my Kids Jaydeep and Jayswini for their encouragement and help, because it was time usually meant for them was spent in the preparation of book. I do not want to use word Thank You and end it, but hall always want to obligatory or indebted to them.
